ADNI is a 5-year study. We hope that our participants will stay involved in ADNI research activities for as long as possible, so as to provide more detailed information about brain health and aging over time. If at any time you wish to stop participating in the study, you may do so.
If you join the ADNI Digital study (the first phase of the ADNI4 research study), you will be asked to answer questions online about yourself and your health. You will also be asked to complete a memory test which will record your voice and responses. You will be asked to identify a “study partner” - a person who knows you well and can answer questions about your health and every day functioning. A study partner is not required for participation in the ADNI Digital study. Expect to take about 15 to 20 minutes to complete the ADNI Digital study, including the online memory challenge. You do not have to do this all in one sitting. Your progress will be saved, so if you pause and log back in later, you will return to where you left off. We will invite you to return to the ADNI online platform every 6 months to repeat these tasks. Your participation over time allows us to better understand changes to brain health and memory. If you need assistance completing the online tests, please contact us at info@adni4.org or call our support team at 1-888-299-ADNI (2364). We’re here for you every step of the way.
If you are eligible and invited to join the second phase of the ADNI4 study, the Blood Biomarker study, and/or the third phase of the ADNI4 study, the In-Clinic study, you will be asked to spend additional time on other tasks.
If you have any questions about the ADNI4 study, we are here to help. Please contact us at info@adni4.org or call our support team at 1-888-299-ADNI (2364).
